President Osmani Meets UK Ambassador to Discuss Elections and Strategic Cooperation

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani held a meeting with the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, where they discussed the December 28 elections and the process of forming new institutions.

The talks also focused on steps toward finalizing the President’s initiative to conclude strategic agreements between Kosovo and the United Kingdom in areas of mutual interest, including defense, security, and economy and trade.

According to a statement from the Presidency, the meeting addressed the latest political developments in the country, as well as the early elections held on December 28, which were described as having been conducted in line with the highest democratic standards. In this context, President Osmani emphasized the importance of establishing new institutions as quickly as possible.
